Magma versus Aqua

Magma versus Aqua was a tic-tac-toe game created for the Pokemon.com redesign in March 2005, though it was never displayed on the main games page. To find it, fans had to add "#funzone_1" to the end of the games page URL.

The game would be either player versus computer (with three skill levels) or player versus player; players could choose either Blaziken, a Fire- and Fighting-type Pokémon, or Swampert, a Water- and Ground-type Pokémon. Blaziken always went first. The first player to place three of the same Pokémon in a row was the winner, or the game ended in a tie.
