Mainichi Issyo
Description
Mainichi Issyo is a multi-genre "casual net" game featuring Sony's Japanese mascot Toro Inoue and his friends, who had first appeared in the PS1 game Doko Demo Issyo. Its main feature was the "Toro Station", a parody of Japanese daily news shows which features actual news about new and upcoming PlayStation games. Players are also able to hang out with Toro in a virtual pet-like life simulator, decorating his home and dressing him up in different costumes. Players can just sit around and watch him, or they can play with him in various minigames.
Toro Station was later replaced with a weekly news show, Shūkan Toro Station, which ran from 2009 to 2013.
