Shūkan Toro Station
Description
Shūkan Toro Station (Weekly Toro Station) is a weekly interactive news magazine published by Sony between 2009 and 2013. Starring Japanese Sony mascot Toro Inoue and his friends, it gave users weekly updates on the latest PlayStation games and other similar Sony news. New issues were available via "Platinya" subscriptions, good for 30 days, which granted players access to fresh content along with back issues. The Toro Station format was based on Sony's earlier PS3 and PSP game Mainichi Issyo, which featured a daily Toro Station blog. Aside from the magazine itself, players can also play all of the minigames that were available in Mainichi Issyo, take part in quizzes based on magazine content, or watch Toro and his friends hang out in their home.
