Marvel Avengers Academy
Description
Marvel Avengers Academy is a persistent world game based on Marvel's Avengers franchise. The game's plot has the Avengers as teenagers attending an academy run by Nick Fury learning to become Avengers. The goal of the game is to build the academy, stop Hydra and recruit all of the Avengers.
Starting with Iron Man as the only character, additional ones are unlocked by completing the main missions. Each mission earns coins and experience. Coins are used to buy and upgrade buildings, buy alternate costumes and upgrade the characters. Some elements are bought with premium shards.
As with most games in the genre, there is a time delay before activities are completed, ranging from a few seconds, to hours to days, to complete missions and buildings . As a persistent game the player can return when the activities are completed or speed up the process by buying Shards with real-money through an in-app purchase.
