The Digital Deluxe Upgrade for Marvel Spider-Man 2 contains all of the extra content from the Digital Deluxe Edition. This includes the digital pre-order bonus/physical Launch Edition content; applying this upgrade to either version doesn't duplicate any of the content. Thus, the upgrade provides:

- two skill points
- additional photo mode items
- early access to the Arachknight and Shadow-Spider Suits and their color variations*
