Description
Microzine is an educational disk-based magazine published by Scholastic between 1983 and 1992. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issue no. 30 contains: Computer Stuff: Microzine* data disk initiation

Contraptions: the player must design a contraption by placing a variety items to propel a character to their friend atop a balcony.

Double Vision: the player looks at blurred pictures of Americana which slowly become more clear. Each photo has 6 levels of blurriness, and the player gains points based upon how quickly they guess the picture.

Poster Maker: a program designed to make posters with a variety of clipart and backgrounds.

Towards the North Star: a Choose Your Own Adventure style game, where the player takes on the role of a white conductor in the Underground Railroad in the northern American states during the 1950s. The player must learn and remember secret words, hand signs, and passwords to help guide black slaves to Canada, while avoiding slave hunters. There are maze components where the player must move towards the North Star while maneuvering through darkened forests.
