Microzine #12

Description
Microzine is an educational disk-based magazine published by Scholastic between 1983 and 1992. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issue no. 12 contains:* Back Page: letters to the Editor and an animated Micro-Toon
- Computer Stuff: data disk initiation
- Letter from the Editor: preview of this volume of Microzine
- Newspaper Maker: a program to create newspapers
- T-Shirt Puzzles: the player must print T-shirts by placing shapes and modifications on a printing press to get the desired image. All commands are inputted via a robot, whom can select desired output, inputs, and modifications from a list of options.
- Wagons West: a Choose Your Own Adventure style game where the player is transported back to the time of the California Gold Rush. The player receives $275 from their mother and uncle, and must prepare for a journey out west. The player must carefully choose which items to take with them, and how to prepare for the trip. Along the way, the player faces several decisions, where if they make the wrong choice their trip is either delayed, or they must restart from the beginning. The player must reach Sutter's Fort by October 1st to successfully complete their trip across the USA.
