Description

Microzine is an educational disk-based magazine published by Scholastic between 1983 and 1992. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issue no. 9 contains: Letters from the Editor - A preview of this volume of Microzine*

  • The Big Nap - A Choose Your Own Adventure style game where the player must solve a mystery. The player teams up with ace detective Rusty Rayburn solve the kidnapping of TV cowboy Tex Cody. Along the way, the player must learn detective slang to help them solve the mystery.
  • Computer Stuff - Software designed to make Microzine data disks.
  • Budget Maker - Budgeting software
  • Quizzler - A program designed to make and play quizzes. Comes with several pre-made quizzes. Allows multiple choice, true/false, and free form entry questions. Tracks scores.
  • Back Page - Letters to the editor, Slang Sleuth , and an animated Micro-Toon
