Miner's Cave
Description
Miner's Cave is an educational game for the Apple II.
Long ago, miners left carts of jewels in several rooms of a hidden cave. This treasure is yours if you can lift the carts up to where an elevator waits to take them out.
The player must use pulleys, levers, ramps, and wheels to help move the carts out of their respective caves. There are different weights of loads and different cavern designs that require different simple machines to be used to extricate the jewels. There is a Miner's Apprentice practice stage, which allows the player to practice using machines. In Master Miner, the player must complete as many challenges in a timed sequence. The are rewarded a score based upon the number of carts removed and the number of mistakes made during the time period.
