Mission Starlight

Mission Starlight is a 1-player science-fiction arcade game for Macintosh.

The evil leader of the Aolgexy Empire, Adolf Blitter, has enslaved the Procyon solar system, and is stealing all of its resources. As a Starlight rebel pilot, the player's goal is to knock out the power plant erected on the five planets of the solar system that power a shield surrounding Blitter's base.

Gameplay is divided into two sections for each of the five planets. In the first section, the player travels towards the planet, and their ship rotates around the edge of the screen firing towards the center. The goal is to destroy enemy vessels while avoiding the dangerous spaceships. Upon arriving on the planet, the view turns to directly behind the player. From there, the player moves laterally to hunt down enemy vessels, ultimately destroying the shield station.
