Mormels

Description
Mormels is a puzzle platform game in which the player guides a group of small creatures, the Mormels, to safety. In the first episode the story begins when Camilla, the daughter of the Mormel people's leader, is kidnapped by an evil wizard and taken to his castle. The player's objective is to lead the Mormels through various hazards to rescue her.
The gameplay is very similar to Lemmings. Each Mormel has a unique skill. One can lead the group, with the others automatically following—though they do not watch where they are going. Another can dig horizontal tunnels through obstacles, while a bridge builder can quickly construct crossings over gaps and rivers. An explosives expert carries large amounts of dynamite to blast craters in the ground. Another Mormel is able to stomp holes into the terrain, and one is the only character capable of activating special floor plates to reveal stairs or remove sections of land. Mormels are controlled directly and simultaneously. An arrow shows which one is currently active.
Levels contain environmental elements such as water, which Mormels can swim in only briefly, and houses, which must be reached by all Mormels before time runs out. Switch plates open new paths and certain walls cannot be destroyed. Progress requires switching between Mormels, using their abilities in the correct order, and managing the group's safety to reach the exit.
The first episode De redding van Camilla was released as shareware, most likely with two more provided after registering: De schat van Toet Chaman and Mormels in Pretland.
