Mutsuboshi Kirari: Hoshi Furu Miyako

The story takes place in a fictional setting of modern day Japan, in Kyoto. The protagonist, Tomoki Shinonome, is a sophomore student of a prestigious Silver Star high-school. Tomoki and his childhood friend, Subaru Hoshimi, have just recently admitted their feelings for one another. The school rule states that each student needs to apply for some club activities, and out of curiosity, Tomoki and Hoshimi join up the school's astronomy club. The game features rather unique "sighting system" which allows player to concentrate on a specific on-screen character during conversation which may affect dialogue and characters' reactions. As a part of astronomy club the protagonist joins, game features "astronomical observation system" which allows player to learn more about start and constellations by clicking at the specific star while watching the starry sky. This visual novel also features unlockable extras which consist of graphics artwork, background music and cut-scene videos.

All adult content from the PC version was removed in the PS2 release.
