My Favorite Monster is a children's interactive CD-ROM game designed for ages 3 to 7 or 4 to 10 (depending on the release), blending humor, music, and light educational activities within a playful haunted house setting. The game encourages exploration, creativity, and observation through engaging point-and-click gameplay.

Players join Mooky, a lovable, goofy green monster, as well as his quirky friends—Gabby the Ghost, a friendly floating spirit; Venus Flytrap, a talking carnivorous plant; and Spot, a playful monster sidekick. Together, they invite children to explore their animated haunted home, filled with surprises, games, and silly interactive features.

The haunted house environment contains over 350 hidden animations, featuring characters like a bungee-jumping spider, a rapping rat, a talking toilet, and a magical paintbrush. Players navigate room by room, clicking on different objects to trigger humorous animations, sounds, and short visual gags. A "Did You Discover?" checklist is included to help players track the many surprises they uncover throughout the house.

In addition to hidden animations, it features a variety of simple, replayable games aimed at young children, focusing on skills such as shape and color recognition, memory development, and visual discrimination. These activities are designed to support early learning in a fun, low-pressure environment.
