N.O.V.A. Legacy

N.O.V.A. Legacy is a side scrolling platform shooter. It is the 2D version of the smartphone game with the same name which in turn is a remake of the original N.O.V.A.: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and follows the same story.

The gameplay is to a large extent the same as in the previous two 2D games in the series (N.O.V.A. and N.O.V.A. 3), and involves running, jumping and shooting at various enemies. The weapons and abilities available are mostly the same. New in this game are space levels that play like a top down vertically scrolling shoot 'em up. Another new feature is that the player's auric armour can be upgraded by finding crates that are located in hidden locations in each level.
