Ninja Gaiden 4

Ninja Gaiden 4 is a 3D hack-and-slash action game, serving as a modern revival of the long-running Ninja Gaiden series. The game introduces a new protagonist, Yakumo of the Raven Clan, while also featuring playable chapters with returning hero Ryu Hayabusa.

Gameplay retains the series’ signature high-speed melee combat, emphasizing precision, counterattacks, and resource management. Players can wield multiple weapons, perform classic moves such as the Flying Swallow and Izuna Drop, and execute powerful Ultimate Techniques by absorbing essence from defeated foes. A new system, the Bloodraven Form, allows Yakumo to transform his weapon into alternate forms that can break guards, interrupt attacks, or unleash devastating combo. Combat depth is expanded through upgrade systems tied to Ninja Coins and Weapon EXP, along with optional side missions and high-difficulty Purgatory Gate challenges.

The game features a 10-hour campaign set in a near-future Tokyo consumed by the miasma of an ancient dragon. Levels include linear missions with occasional traversal sequences, optional boss fights, and secret collectibles. Post-game content includes Master Ninja difficulty, Combat Trials, and replayable stages.
