Ninja Jajamaru-kun: Onigiri Ninpōchō - Gold

Ninja Jajamaru-kun: Onigiri Ninpōchō - Gold is a 3D platformer in the Ninja Jajamaru-kun series. It has gameplay similar to that of Ninja Jajamaru-kun: Onigiri Ninpōchō, in which players control the ninja protagonist Jajamaru-kun from a fixed behind-view perspective while using his throwable shuriken and katana to dispatch enemies, but with entirely different levels and enemies. The story once again follows Jajamaru-kun on a quest to rescue Princess Sakura from the clutches of Catfish Tayu. Like the previous game, levels contain power-ups for Jajamaru-kun to collect, and defeating enemies and collecting silver pieces awards points which add up to a score at the end of each level.

Although most of the game takes place in 3D environments, it also includes some 2D levels in the style of the original Ninja Jajamaru-kun game so that the 2D and 3D approaches to the series can be directly compared.
