Omoide no Kanata

Omoide no Kanata is a dramatic Japanese visual novel with adult content. The player takes on the role of a man who returns to his hometown five years after losing his love, Hayaka Tsujikawa, in a tragic accident. Finding that the town has changed in the time since he left, the protagonist must confront his feelings about the past to decide how he wants to spend his future. The game makes heavy use of flashbacks, with about half of it taking place five years in the past and the other half occurring in the present.

Depending on the player's decisions, the game may branch into different story routes. Each of the five heroines, including Hayaka, has an associated route. The other heroines are Yukari Fujisawa, a divorced shop clerk; Mio Sawaguchi, a childhood friend who crushed on the protagonist in the past; Hifumi Takashiro, a shy amateur photographer; and Yuki Tagasa, another childhood friend who has a sisterly relationship with the protagonist. The game features Japanese voice acting and contains explicit sexual content.
