One Way Heroics

One Way Heroics is a top down RPG created by Japanese indie game developer SmokingWOLF. In the game, you are summoned by a king to defeat the Demon Lord and save their land. However, the Demon Lord has a void that is engulfing the land in darkness. The game's combat system is very similar to that of roguelikes such as NetHack and ADOM: you kill enemies and move on. However, there is a wall of darkness that will instantly end you adventure if it catches up to you, pressuring you to keep moving. Another thing of note is that each time you play, a new world is built from the ground up, making every playthrough potentially different. There are also two difficulty settings that determine when the Demon Lord shows up.
