Overworld

Overworld is a traditional 2D Roguelike with UI elements streamlined for mobile play. The objective is to complete three quests and pass the Gatekeeper into the Underworld.

Evil magic has poisoned the land, driving peaceful creature mad. Choose from one of 35 heroes such as the wizard or the leprechaun to find the source of this evil. Traverse deserts, oceans, and caves as you improve your gear and wield powerful magic. You are under attack by familiar creatures: cats and snails, but soon cobras and eagles. Each step brings more danger and more powerful loot, as you quest to pass the mysterious Gatekeeper or die trying.

Overworld condenses traditional Roguelike elements of turn-based tactics and inventory management into short sessions playable on a small screen. Procedural generation and a large number of classes create diverse stories and strategies. As is typical in Roguelikes the game features perma-death, but the quick rounds let players bounce right back.
