Operation Tiger

Description

In the 1990s, X country started to invade oil rich countries for their resources. A multi-national force was dispatched to put a stop to this hostile country's action, but X country threatens to unleash chemical weapons indiscriminately if the other nations forces don't back down. So the other nations have decided to secretly attack X country's chemical weapon carriers. A mission code named Operation Tiger features a small team of paratroopers whose mission is to locate these chemical weapon carriers and destroy them. This small team got captured and lost contact with the rest of their forces. The player takes on the role of one of these soldiers and must now fight their way out from behind enemy lines.

Operation Tiger takes the Operation Wolf series into the third dimension. The game consists of six stages of rail shooter action. The player is armed with a machine gun that needs to be reloaded after every twenty shots. Players need to shoot at magazine cartridges and grenades to refill their amount of ammo. Shooting an enemy with multiple bullets will increase the player's score. Vehicles like tanks and helicopters need to be taken out with grenades.

Getting shot multiple times will drain the player's life gauge. Once the life gauge is empty the game is over. Players have to be careful not to shoot allies who will appear on the battlefield. Sometime these allies will be under attack and need the player to rescue them. Failing to keep allies safe will drain the player's life gauge.
