Pac-Man Bounce

Pac-Man Bounce is a free-to-play puzzle game where each level takes place on a single screen and Pac-Man is the protagonist. At the start it is shown Pac-Man is late for a party. To reach the cake and his friends, he needs to complete a long set of puzzles. Levels are unlocked along a winding path and up to three stars can be earned per level. To complete a level Pac-Man needs to grab a key and optionally all stars as well for the best possible score.

Pac-Man cannot be controlled directly. He can only be tapped once and then he moves forward in a straight line automatically, bouncing off the sides of the screen. It is up to the player to design a path for him to travel, because once launched, interaction is no longer possible. A path is created by rotating blocks with arrows that change his direction. In some levels they cannot be rotated and have a fixed direction, but they can be freely moved around the screen. These blocks can make him move diagonally and then bouncing off walls in a diagonal line is often needed to follow the correct path. Along the way obstacles such as ghosts and pits need to be avoided.

There is a fast forward button to speed up the gameplay and hints are provided after watching a video advertisements. The game uses lightning as an energy / stamina currency. It decreases with each level played and takes time to refill or requires some cherries, the premium (and only) currency, available as an in-app purchase. For certain levels a number of stars is needed to continue.
