Pacman

Game cover: Pacman

Description

This version of Pac-Man is a remake of the original game, which slightly varies in used graphics, sounds and game mechanics.

Compared to the original, the player can choose one of three Pacman-alike characters when starting the game. Additionally, the player can choose difficulty before starting the game. Difficulty is indicated by numbers "1", "2" and "3" at top of the screen, next to "Szybkość" word - the higher the number, the faster enemy ghosts are. Pacman has only one life.

There are 2 types of bonuses: "shoe" that makes Pacman move faster and "poison" which gives the possibility to set mine to kill ghost. Ghosts regenerate a few seconds after death.

Pacman cannot teleport from the left edge of the screen to the right edge of the screen like in the original. Instead of dots, Pacman collects coins. Game can also be stopped at any time. On difficulties "1" and "2", each coin is worth 1 point and each killed ghost - 5 points. Difficulty "3" doubles points scored per each activity.

Player controls Pacman using the keyboard, however Pacman moves automatically - the player by tapping one of the arrow keys can change direction of his movement. Space bar is used to set the mine.

Game has 4 levels and once completing fourth level, game loops back to level 1 and increases difficulty.
