Pangki

Description

Pangki is one of a package of games produced by The Code Zone. Games from this package were used, in various combinations, in around twenty different game compilation packages.

Pangki is a single-player, strategy game that is played against the computer on a 4x4 grid. It is an example of a simple, 'perfect information' game, i.e. a game in which each player knows the full and complete state of the game at any time. This is a turn-based game in which each player starts with six pieces. All the pieces are arranged around the edges of the board with the computer's pieces being at the top of the screen and the players at the bottom. Players take turns attempting to destroy an opponents pieces, the loser being the player who is reduced to a single playing piece. Pieces are destroyed when the opponent lines up two of their pieces against a single piece of the other player in an X-X-O-blank arrangement.

The game is entirely mouse controlled. It is played in a window which cannot be re-sized. The game has sound, four levels of difficulty, in-game help screens, and a choice of playing piece, colour and screen background.
