Pendragon Rising

Pendragon Rising is an interactive novel that is entirely text-based. It is a Dark Ages Celtic fantasy about the rise of King Arthur as the Saxons threaten the existence of Britain. The player plays as Arthur, and makes choices throughout the game which change the path through the story, changing underlying stats that lead to different outcomes and descriptions. Importantly, the game even allows selection of the gender of the main character at the start, and so can play an alternate version of the game as Arta, in a world where the women are warriors and the men support them.
