Pixi

In this 2D game the player has to guide Pixi to defend two stars from being kidnapped by Boxi. Pixi is a flock of small creatures that can only be controlled indirectly. The mouse is used to draw arrows on the screen and tell the Pixi where to go. The swarm has to be steered towards various opponents that appear near the top of the screen and attempt to capture the stars at the bottom to carry them back up.

Various gameplay modifiers are introduced with each of the eight levels. Killing opponents fills up a frenzy bar. Once full, a frenzy can be unleashed to make the Pixi much quicker and deadlier. By holding the right mouse button all Pixi are bundled up and turn in a deadly cyclone. Activating frenzy is often needed to ward off the many opponents and later enemies have indestructible parts or explode, sending back all the Pixi to the starting position.

Next to the main game mode with eight levels, there is a survival mode, and a sandbox mode where custom challenges can be designed.
