Pokémon Tower Defense
Description
Pokémon Tower Defense is a Pokémon fangame that puts the player in the role of a new trainer starting their journey in the Kanto region. They, along with their friends Joey and Maruto, travel the region, earn Gym Badges, and thwart the plans of a Mewtwo who wants to place everyone in the world under mind control. At the start of a new save game, the player may choose either Red or Blue, which affects nothing except which wild Pokémon are obtainable.
The game plays as a basic tower defense game, in which the player stations up to six of their Pokémon across the field to automatically attack waves of enemies coming in from one side of the screen. Some levels come with special conditions, such as protecting a pile of candy from thieving Pokémon. Wild Pokémon can be captured once they've been sufficiently weakened. The player's Pokémon level up as they fight, and may evolve once they've met the proper requirements.
A Mystery Gift feature allows special Pokémon and avatars to be obtained from the developers' website during certain time windows.
