Pole to Pole
Description
Pole to Pole is an add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight. It is one of a series of 'Discovery flight' products, with an aircraft + a set of flights, by First Class Simulations. No extra scenery is included, so what you see is what your flight simulator already has installed.
The package contains an aircraft; the ski/wheel equipped 'Aero Commander 680', and a sequence of pre-configured flights crossing North and South America, taking you from close to the North Pole to the Palmer Base in Antarctica. The flight is split into 52 legs, each under 500 nautical miles in length and lasting under 2hrs, with a total flying time of about 300 hours. The routes are chosen for best scenic views rather than the shortest path.
