Protectors

Protectors is a 1-player arcade clone of Defender for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a small spaceship, which can fire in all directions, and can move vertically. The player can control the horizontal speed of the vessel. The goal is to destroy incoming alien vessels, and prevent them from destroying friendly structures on the ground. The player is armed with 4 smart bombs, which destroy all enemies on the screen. The player starts with 3 ships, and gains an extra every 5000 points. The player can take limited hits to their city before a game over.
