Psycho Mystery Series Vol. 8: Izanami no Hanamuko
Description
Izanami no Hanamuko is a part of Genki Mobile's Psycho Mystery series, a set of murder mysteries with a psychological and supernatural theme. This entry follows detective Haruka Mishima, the protagonist of volumes 2, 5 and 7. The setting: Kagotsuchi, a poor village that, according to local legend, is afflicted by the curse of Izanami which says that the eldest son who inherits his family's business will die an early death. Mishima is called to the village after receiving a letter from her high school best friend telling her that her five-year-old son has suffered a series of suspicious accidents and begs for her help in getting to the bottom of it.
As with the other games in the Psycho Mystery series, this is a menu-driven Japanese-style adventure game. Players read dialogue and use the menu system to choose dialogue and investigation options.
