Qlione

Qlione is a colourful and fast-paced game where the player controls an amoeba in an abstract environment with an electronic, pumping soundtrack. Rather than a pure shooter it heavily focuses on movement, timing and adapting to enemy patterns to survive large waves of enemies. Set in an arena-like environment with a small amount of scrolling, the amoeba can be moved anywhere. The player juggles two commands as a means of attack: an explosion and a vacuum. An explosion acts as a trap with a bomb that explodes over time, while vacuum sucks in enemies for a short while. There are also boss fights that require a new approach as bosses are much larger and fire bullet patterns.
