Quest for the Hoard
Description
Quest for the Hoard is a 1 - 2 player puzzle game for the Apple IIgs.
The player selects blocks on a 26 x 17 board. Game play is timed, and the player must attempt to locate the treasure and vaults located on each board before time expires. As the player searches, if they are within 2 squares of a treasure, the area becomes highlighted, and the player gains points by highlighting the dangerous square with a spell of protection. A vault must be directly found my selecting it's block. If a level is cleared, the player progresses to a more difficult challenge. There are 14 levels of difficulty, which define the starting challenge.
