Quintominoes

Quintominoes is a puzzle game for the 8-bit Atari computer.

Played on a 8 x 8 board, the player is presented with 12 possible shapes consisting of 5 parts. Each of these shapes can be rotated and placed on the board, but pieces cannot overlap. The player's goal is to fill the board by leaving as few empty spaces as possible. For added challenge, a random piece can be placed on the board at the beginning of the game, or the ability to remove a piece after playing is optional.
