Rasputin

Rasputin is a chess program developed at Westfield College, London. It can be considered as a predecessor to Merlin by the same author. The AI uses a Swapping Off Material Analyzer (SOMA) approach to finding the best move. It played in the European Computer Chess Championship in 1979.
