Red Skies

Red Skies is a side-scrolling strategy game. Players take on the role of a "battlefield conductor". The game's goal is to destroy the enemy's capitol. The game is lost when the player's capitol is destroyed.

There are four factions in the game with different special abilities and advantages. For example, the "military" faction can use their "blitzkrieg" ability that temporarily increases the attack power and speed of their units, while the "social" faction has the "Mass Propaganda" ability that can call masses to fight for their side.

Besides the capitol, there are other buildings that serve different purposes, like producing units or generating income. The player can't directly control the units. The units automatically attack the enemy immediately after being produced.
