Rengoku: -Rinne-The Curriculum- is the second 3D mobile game adaptation of Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory released through the Hudson Soft's HUDSON Real3D subscription service for the FOMA 901i and 902i series cell phones. The game required a monthly 300 yen (315 yen including tax) subscription fee.
Following Rengoku: The Network of Deucalion, Rengoku: -Rinne-The Curriculum- places players in control of an artificial soldier robot, ADAM.
Unlike it's predecessor, however, players now fight endless waves of enemies in either time limited or time unlimited modes. You acquire different weapon parts from defeated enemies, and can use them to enhance your ADAM's head, arms, body or legs to become more powerful.
The game featured online rankings through the HUDSON Real3D website.
