Rio Sneak Peek DVD

Rio Sneak Peek is a promotional DVD was released in advance of the 2011 film RIO. It contains the following DVD options;Rio*: Here there is a Sneak Peek at the film, a Behind The Scenes at Blue Sky Studios feature and some Coloring Pages which can be accessed via a computer

• Fun Interactive Activities. This consists of three mini-games

  • Animal Memory: This is a short 'Simon Says' game. Pictures of animals are shown and these light up in a sequence which the player must replicate

  • Match The Film: A short film clip runs after which the player is shown four characters one of which will have appeared in the film (not necessarily in the clip).

  • Ice Slides: This is played with a character called Scrat, a sabre tooth squirrel from the film Ice Age. Scrat stands at the top of an ice wall down which run three intertwining slides. At the bottom of one of the slides is an acorn, the player's task is to direct Scrat to the top of the correct slide.

• Blue Sky Short Films: For short animations running for around seven minutes

• Sing-A-Longs: The first part explains the step sequence to Sid's Sloth Dancing sequence from the Ice Age film, the second plays that sequence, and the final part is the 'Walk The Dinosaur' dance sequence with bouncing ball text
