Rogue Planet

Rogue Planet is a futuristic turn-based strategy game. When a space crew returns to Earth after a mission of 35 years, they discover the machines have taken over. In the Story mode the crew's Nimeh ship needs to complete missions to search Earth for survivors and the story unfolds while progressing.

The turn-based missions take place on small maps that act like grids where units are moved around like chess pieces. The player can view the entire map through zooming and rotation. Strategy involves powerful commanders, various buildings, resources and units with different roles. The environment and type of terrain also play a role. Missions take place over several rounds. Owning the most buildings is a key element to winning as they generate resources each turn to build units. Buildings are colonized by sacrificing ground units.

There is also a Quick Game mode to replay any campaign from the Store mode or 50 additional maps, and there is support for local multiplayer games using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. In multiplayer actions take place simultaneously on both screen so the opponent can see what the other player is doing. In Quick Games there are three difficulty levels and you can select a Human or Robot commander to gain specific perks.
