Rugby Nations 09
Description
Rugby Nations 09 is the first in a series of rugby union games for mobile devices. The game uses a combination of touch-screen and accelerometer controls. Running left or right is done by tilting the device while there are on screen buttons for passing (left or right), tackling, kicking and sprinting. Conversion kicks are taken by swiping a line across the screen, from the ball to the goal.
The game contains a single match mode as well as three different tournaments: six nations, tri nations and world cup. There is a also a conversions mode that is solely about taking conversion kicks from various pitch positions. It is possible to play as ten different international teams.
