Rusted Warfare

Rusted Warfare RTS is an indie cross-platform Real Time Strategy (RTS) game inspired by the classics. In this game every player must gather resources, build a base, create units, attack and destroy the enemy to win, with pixel art graphics, immersive sounds and on predefined maps with different geographical configurations that affect unit movement. The game provides multiple game modes such as: Mission, Skirmish, Challenge, Survival, Sandbox and Multiplayer. It also includes multi-language support, LAN multiplayer and a fully integrated retrocompatible easy modding feature. Rusted Warfare RTS is available to the most of popular platforms: Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, MacOS.

In Rusted Warfare RTS players generally start with a Command Center that produces Builders that can construct new buildings and expand the base. Extractors are buildings that provide more Credits over time, but can only be built over Resource Pools available on different strategic points of the map. Credits can be used to construct more buildings or create new units, which vary depending on the space they move throught. Land units are created at the Land Factory, Air units are created at the Air Factory, sea units are created at the Sea Factory, and some bigger, slower and special late-game units can be created at the Experimental Factory. The game uses a basic balance logic that consists in unit attack: flamethrower units are effective against big masses of units; lightning units are effective against units with energy shields; and plasma units are effective against common units, but generally have energy shields. Stronger units can be unlocked when upgrading the factory buildings, and some special building features can be unlocked with upgrades as well. Players have not unit or resource limits, so battles can reach great proportions, especially at the end game, when players can construct Nuke Launchers to cause massive destruction to enemies.

Rusted Warfare RTS excels at game controls, which are fully customizable on PC versions, and very intuitive on mobile versions, making it very fair for players in all platforms on multiplayer. Performance and graphics is another of its great advantages, specially considering the size that the battles may reach and the number of units there can be on the battlefield simultaneously, graphics are nostalgic and well complemented with different visual effects that make it look great. However, the most important and noticeable feature of the game is its easy-modding feature, which allows almost anyone to create their own units, buildings and even their own games inside Rusted Warfare RTS. Modding allows players to easily create content through setting files (.ini) with a markup language similar to HTML made up of english words. This allows Rusted Warfare RTS to simulate great games of the genre such as Command and Conquer, Starcraft and Warcraft, and allows players to create and design their own RTS, Tower Defense and even Turn-Based and Role Playing games. Modding community is very active and game allows mods to be used in private multiplayer rooms.
