WarCraft Rumble

Warcraft Rumble is a mobile real-time strategy game from Blizzard Entertainment for iOS and Android. It was initially announced as "Warcraft: Arclight Rumble" during May 2022, and has been "soft launched" in select countries (per 18 August, 2023). The game is a spin-off in the Warcraft series, incorporating the fantasy setting of Azeroth and its inhabitants.

The core gameplay of Warcraft Rumble incorporates some elements from the tower defense genre. During a level, the board includes the player's base, an end boss, and possibly other units and buildings. The goal is to eliminate the end boss while keeping the player's base defended. Within the radius of a friendly building, the player can place a unit from a randomized array based on a list defined by the player prior to starting the game level. The player's units attack and defend against enemy buildings and units, as well as the end boss. The hostile buildings can be conquered and claimed by the player to allow for more unit placement options. Some friendly units can be placed outside the friendly building radiuses. The player also has access to a reusable "leader" unit, which have unique powers such as healing friendly units, providing unit cost reduction, and increased damage based on unit type. The game features player vs. environment and player vs. player game modes.

The video game is monetized through in-app purchases. These include in-game coins that can be exchanged for new, unique units. Warcraft Rumble is otherwise free-to-play.
