Sadim's Castle
Description
Sadim's Castle is a text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron.
Long ago, Lord Sadim and his beautiful wife Leonora lived happily together in a vast castle. The lord was summoned far away to fight in his lord's war, and his wife was unfaithful during his absence. Upon returning and learning of her infidelity, Sadim sealed his wife in a room in the castle. Her bloodcurdling screams of rage could be heard for days, until one day the screaming stopped, and Lord Sadim was found decapitated by the castle's portcullis.
Since that time, there have been numerous disappearances around the castle, and the castle has developed a reputation for being haunted. The player is tasked with finding Leonora's remains in the now-deserted castle, and giving them a proper burial so her spirit can rest in peace.
All commands are via VERB NOUN entry. The player receives points for puzzles solved and item collected. Time passes automatically every 30 seconds if no commands are entered.
