Saloon Sally
Description
Saloon Sally is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro.
Saloon Sally is in a tricky situation. A large fight has broken out in her saloon, started by four mean-looking cowboys who had ridden into town for drinking and gambling. Their unconventionally obtained gold is still sitting on the tables while they throw their weight around. Sally must try to sneak past the brawling cowboys to collect the gold lying on the tables.
The goal on each level is to navigate a maze of tables, trying to pick up all the gold while avoiding the cowboys that move about. Sally can defend herself by throwing a table or chair in the direction she is facing, which will temporarily stun a cowboy. Sally can also break tables by pushing into them. Gold can be obtained by pushing the table away, but tables with gold can not be smashed. Occasionally the lights will get smashed, and the cowboys will try to collect the gold themselves under the cover of darkness. Sally receives bonus points if she stuns all four cowboys at the same time.
