Samurai Warrior
Description
Samurai Warrior is an adventure game set in 13th Century Japan where you take on the role of a Samurai who must survive and reach a certain amount of points depending on the skill level (1500 on the ZX81) to win the game over a number of periods. There are also a number of other Samurai looking to defeat you and will challenge you on regular occasions which can be accepted or refused. You are presented with a number of options to play the game and these include challenge another Samurai, seek out bandits, offer assistance to a village, hunt for food, committ Seppuko and finally see your status report.
You have various stats that need increasing and these include overall status, reputation, physical condition and hunger. You must perform tasks and accept challenges to increase these stats which will increase your points total. If you are close to your total points then committing Seppuko (killing yourself) awards you points and if you pass the reqiured points total then you have won the game. Before the game there are seven levels of play (1-7) to choose from.
