Sangokushi Taisen
Description
Sangokushi Taisen is the first branch of the real-time strategy Arcade trading card game series. It uses a flat panel card reader cabinet originally made for World Club Champion Football, with the addition of detecting card movement. Players place figures from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history into a battlefield.
In this fast-paced, competitive strategy game, two opponents face each other from opposite ends of a battlefield. The primary objective is to attack and damage the enemy's castle. A match concludes either when one castle is destroyed or when the countdown timer expires. Victory is awarded to the player whose castle retains the highest amount of health at the end of the match.
Prior to each match, players construct a custom deck that defines their strategic approach. Deck composition varies significantly depending on the selected troops and factions. Each player is allotted a total of 8 points to build their team, with individual cards costing between 1 and 3 points.
