Description

Secret Agent: Mission One is a graphical adventure game for the Apple II.

Robert H. Melton, famed weapons physicist has designed the Energy Synchronizer, a device for concentrating high amounts of energy at specific coordinates, with atomic device like-power. He has moved to the coast off a little-known area named Batangali, and now demands to be made ruler of the world, or within 48 hours will begin to destroy the world's great cities. As a Secret Agent, you must infiltrate his island stronghold and de-activate the automatic firing device, which will cause the Energy Synchronizer to activate if his island is attacked. Upon doing this, the player must contact their superiors to initiate a bombing attack, and they will then have 30 minutes to successfully flee the island. Reservations have been made for you at the Batangali Hilton under the name Jose Caldera, and you have just 15 hours to complete your task.

Now while aboard their flight to Batangali, the airplane gets attacked by an unknown plane.

The player inputs all actions via verb-noun commands with the keyboard to interact with the surroundings, such as "OPEN CABINET". To navigate your way through the locations in the game you use the cardinal directions: N(ORTH)/S(OUTH)/W(EST)/E(AST)/U(P)/D(OWN) or the GO command, such as "GO DOOR". "LOOK" gives you a description of a room and tells you if there are any items there. "LOOK WATCH" will give you the current time. "I" or "INVENTORY" shows you a list of what you currently have.

There is a SAVE/RESTORE option.
