Description
Seeds of Sylvia is an English-language kinetic novel about the disappearance of the bees.
The story follows Dr. Ashley Applegate, a scientist who is investigating potentially supernatural causes for the sudden onset of Colony Collapse Disorder - the inexplicable disappearance of bees from their colonies - as the phenomenon threatens to cause the world's ecosystems to collapse. Alongside Dr. Sibyl Colwell, a colleague who prefers a more grounded approach, Ashley conducts a field study to investigate a unique clearing in the forest which contains a single blue turnip flower. Upon discovering that bees are attracted to this particular specimen, Ashley finds that the flower is not what it appears to be.
