Sil

Sil is a roguelike role-playing game; it is a fork of Angband. Players take on the role of a warrior in the first age of Middle-earth who delves into the dark halls of Angband to pry a Silmaril from Morgoth's crown. It emphasizes discovery and tactical combat and closely adheres to the writings of Tolkien, but also eschews common fantasy tropes like wizards and priests.
