Sky Rescue

Sky Rescue is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The people of Irata are desperate and have called on the Federation for help. They are under attack by a Mad Bomber from Elppa. The Mad Bomber has shields far superior to those of the Federation, and survived all attacks from the fleet.

The Iratian's only chance for survival is if they can be taken to the shelter, where no Elpians may pass. Your mission is to transport all Iratians to the shelter using the Federation's newest rescue helicopter.

Played from a side-scrolling perspective, the player controls their helicopter to pick up Iratians one at a time, and bring them to shelter to the right of the level. The player must avoid attacks from the Mad Bomber, and if the shield is depleted the player's helicopter is destroyed. When all Iratians are rescued, the player receives a score and rating for the mission.
