Space Fungus
Description
Space Fungus is a 1-player arcade game for the Apple II.
A green blob of living space fungus threatens the galaxy. Only you can save it by destroying the slimy menace with the lasers of your spaceship.
The player controls a small spaceship that can move in all directions, and is armed with a laser and 25 missiles. The fungus takes up the entirety of the top of the screen, and slowly pulses downwards towards the player. The player must avoid the slimy tendrils that exude from the fungus while blasting it with their weapons. The player is armed with a limited number of missiles that can take out a large portion of the fungus at once, as well as a laser gun. The laser gun can only fire for a limited period of time, and must take breaks to recharge. If the player comes in contact with the fungus, their ship is lost, and it's game over.
