Space Fighter

Space Fighter is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the BBC Micro.

The player controls a spaceship that moves up and down, fires directly forwards, and can temporarily blast ahead to the center of the screen. Enemies appear from the right, and the player is armed with three smart bombs that can destroy all enemies on the screen.

The ship has limited fuel, and can be recharged by blasting fuel dumps. Enemies include: mutants, swarmers, trimorts, baiters, and baryons. The player starts with three ships.
